Malls are hubs of life in the Middle East. Like a neighborhood but found indoors. Whether you are needing a place to kill time, meet a friend, have coffee, eat a meal, get some clothes, buy a birthday present, go grocery shopping, watch a movie at the movie theatre or drop your kids off at a play area. The malls in the Middle East are the place to go.
They are also great places to get your steps in while having AC. Turn on your fitness watch and go for that walk, get those 10,000 steps in (and get that croissant at the end)! The malls in the Middle East do not disappoint and the ones in Riyadh are killing it! If you find yourself in Riyadh around summertime, or with a few hours to spend try out some of these malls out.
For the DIGITIAL NOMADS:
Riyadh Park Mall and Panorama Mall have official co-working spaces with coffee shops, tables and office spaces along with having great coffee shops inside the malls. At Riyadh Park Mall its called “spaces” and at Panorama Mall its called “Huna”.
For the TEXANS:
Riyadh Park Mall, Riyadh Gallery Mall, Granada Mall and walking distance from Panorama Mall there are Raising Canes locations with refillable sweet tea and unlimited ketchup. You should also check out FireGrill which will fill your craving for chiplotle.
For the INDOOR WALKERS:
Panorama Mall is a one-story great walking area with fantastic sky lights and food court has ceiling to wall windows. Riyadh Park Mall has two stories, spacious, great lighting and also fantastic for walking around. In the winter Roshn Front is a great outdoor mall to walk in with coffee shops all around.
For the TECH PEOPLE:
Virgin Megastore is your go to place. It holds almost anything you would want inside of it. Music gear, a new laptop, the fitness watch of your dreams, any cables you could need, kitchen items, travel adaptors. Virgin can be found in: Park Avenue Mall, Granada Mall, Panorama Mall and Riyadh Park Mall.
