Due to coffee being such a big part of the culture, coffee shops can be found around almost every corner. There are coffee shops specific to Saudi, that if you didn’t know about you might miss! They are fun, have character and you would miss out if you just go to your traditional Starbucks.

- Barns Coffee
This is my # 1 road trip stop! Whether you are driving 10 hours from Riyadh to Jeddah or Abha or through traffic this place is consistent, has character, and is found at most gas stations around the country. Along with being at gas stations it has a few sit down locations as well. They have great coffees, fantastic thick and creamy karak chai, and mouth drooling cinnamon rolls.

2. Half Million Cafe
If you want your sugary coffee boost, seasonal coffees, Half Million café is the Saudi version of Starbucks. They can be found almost everywhere. In Riyadh during the winter they even have a pop up coffee shop in the middle of the desert!

3. Urth Cafe
Your dream girl coffee shop. Decorated with plants, it makes you feel like your outside even if you are in a mall or inside. This place has so many peaceful and fun vibes. I highly recommend their Divine Spice Chai Latte, Matcha Lattes and Bubble Tea. They also have fantastic deserts!

4. Camel Step
For the fancy coffee lovers. This place roasts their coffee, specializes in chemex’s, v60s giving you the incredible “true coffee” experience. They have locations in most of the big cities. If you buy coffee beans, I highly recommend their beans. For the coffee people who know they post their roasting dates 😉 This is a pure joy coffee experience.
