Riyadh is a city booming with new things to do, there could be hundreds of date night suggestions for this city. Its almost impossible to suggest anything because you can have your pick of incredible things to do in this city! Riyadh is full of so many beautiful and new activities to do with the Bulvard and winter seasons. Here were my husband and my top 5 date nights in Riyadh! These are your traditional dinner date night ideas with a mix of Saudi food, American food, and a fun experience.
- Traditional Saudi Dinner for 2 at Najdi Village
Enter into a traditional Saudi building with decoration that takes you back in time. Najdi Palace showcases the delicacies of the country while also letting you experience the culture in a fun and beautiful way. My husband and I enjoyed their set menu which we had for our date night, for two people the food was so much we had to take a lot home but you get chicken and rice, side dishes, a yoghurt drink. I also recommend getting tea after you finish your meal. There is a “family section” where you can sit amongst other men and women. The seating is on the floor letting you experience the Saudi way of eating with the beautiful traditional food. The menu for two really could be a menu for four! Enjoy the feast before you which is a perfect date night! (this picture was from when we went on a double date and we ordered two set menus and there was SO MUCH FOOD!)

2. Breakfast date at Tamessa
Experience traditional saudi breakfast in this beautifully decorated location. On weekends the lines get full so be sure to get on their wait list! Their falafel pizza is to die for, I honestly dream of it. Each dish is cooked like it was your grandma’s dish. When I went before I was served by a cat robot which is a very entertaining experience! However the cat robot wasn’t there the last time I went. Nearby there are coffee shops you can relax at while you wait for your reservation. There are cheeper places you can go to get the same food, however the vibes are unmatched. They decorated the place with vintage pieces and have a fun staff. Its relaxing and a wonderful experience.

3. Barbeque at 7 ribs
The texan in my husband died and went to heaven when eating their brisket sandwhich. The chef mastered the taste, texture, making you miss home just that much less. If you’ve ever had american BBQ, this is your close second! A MUST go to if you like BBQ.

4. Take a walk on the Sky Bridge at the highest part of Riyadh at Kingdom Center Mall
Go up to the top of Riyadh and view the gorgeous city below you. Grab your tickets from the mall, and grab the elevator up for the most beautiful view of riyadh below you. You get a stunning veiw, I recommend trying to go at sunset or at night. To add to your date night go to a movie at the VOX cinema found in the Kingdom Center mall.

5. Bujari Terrace
Bujari Terrace is found in the amazing location of Duriyah where you get to learn what the old town of Riyadh looked like many years ago. Bujari Terrace includes fantastic restaurants including my favorite “Somewhere” their desert of the “Somewhere pistachio baklava” has made my mouth water. They make homemade pistachio ice cream. The location at the Bujari terrace is the best. Enjoy a fantastic meal at any of the luxury restaurants and walk around the old town of Duriyah. It is an INCREDIBLE date night. Be sure to get a reservation for one of the tables of the restaurants before going!
